Semi Independent Living Services
After Care (NW) Ltd offer a three tier approach to semi independent living services.
After Care (NW) Ltd begin the process of developing young people's semi independent living skills upon a young person's admission to one of the companies registered homes.
As young people get older having developed appropriate skills and increasing their level of independence, the company can offer the opportunity for young people to move into a shared independent living environment, which is staffed on a twenty four hour a day basis. Staff working within this facility offer practical advice and support to young people to help them develop their independent living skills further.
Once skills have been assessed and developed young people can move into more independent living situations whereby they will have their own accommodation but will receive several hours support daily. Young people will be accommodated in individual furnished flats accessed for them by the company.
It is envisaged that levels of support will decrease depending upon individual assessment of needs, and once support is no longer required young people will take on the tenancy agreements and finish using our Semi Independent Living Services.

Facilities
After Care (NW) Ltd’s Head Office is sited in Southport, which is a seaside resort in Merseyside.
The head office offers support services to all of After Care (NW) Ltd business interests.
The building houses the company Senior Management Team, the City and Guilds registered NVQ centre, Human Resources services, Financial services, Administrative support services and the companies OCR registered education centre.
